Ralph Craven
  Ralph Craven Red Wine
Shiraz

The color is a deep inky purple. The nose is a complex mixture of ripe blackberry and plum fruit with a dash of creamy vanilla in oak. The palate is medium to full bodied which starts with some sweet plumy fruit, the flavor then builds in the palate to provide an explosion of raspberry flavors.

Poem by Laisha Cooper:

Far away from this deserted moon
You skin shining brighter in this candle lit room
Your twisted mane all over my face
How long will this last?
In this purple rain

The sound of this music lies in the past
And this façade of passion dances through my heart

Caressing my neck your lip on my rim
When you look in my eye it feels like a sin
For whatever you dream and wherever we part
This night will be cast forever
In my deep dark chocolate heart
Cabernet Merlot

A beautiful Garnet color, with purplish reflection. The wine displays complex bouquet which, along with their varietals characteristics, offers a pleasant note of vanilla oak and some smoky hints of barrel oak. They offer rich fruit taste on the palate with soft tannin & more delicate finer bouquet average alcohol level is 12.5 % v/v.

Best with Red meats, Roast game & mature cheeses, we can name it a “Reserva”.

Poem By Laisha Cooper:

A sudden bloom from petal to fruit
When the plum garb of frolic and play
Turn my daughter’s eyes brighter than the ones yesterday.
From mauve to crimson the age caught along
How long has it been since she and I sang a song

I sat on my chair, while she showed me her gown
I am honored and dreading her last week in town
My little munchkin who sat in her high chair
Now walks in high heels with so much flair

Her every trip and every fall
Is like a picture in my mind embedded on the wall
The day is come that I give her away
Her vanilla room will always stay

  Ralph Craven White Wine
Sauvignon Blanc

Delicately crafted grapes from imported of low yield and being grown on a unique terroir that combines maritime climate with well drained gravel soils to produce wines of elegance. It’s a limited edition.

The green yellow colour is delightfully typical giving a gooseberry aroma with a hint of guava and dried fruits for complexity.

The crisp lingering taste denotes a well structured wine. The finish is clean and smooth with hints of vanilla. This is a 2008 vintage and best served between 60 – 80 C with salads, white meats, and seafood.

Poem By Laisha Cooper:

Green and yellow echoes within the flute
This gleam of sunlight savoring the truth

A younger lad that looks like me
Now plays the part that I once did teach
I grow older as he proceeds
This journey of life that I did lead

This aroma of gooseberries
With a hint of guava seeds
In this crisp lingering taste
I wish he is in no haste

As he is what I did see
My eldest son he who now dreams
These dreams that I dreamt he will proceed

This wine that I sit to make
Its inheritance is now his to take.
Riesling

Poems by Laisha Cooper:

Aye King of Riesling
he son of the last
Fighting in honor for the good of the past
Can you not smell the flavor of earth?
How did you blend the gold and the dirt?

To be honored and honor
Are two different paths
One holds respect the other a hard heart
But only those that survive tell us their tales
Ode to the mighty king of Riesling
Never uttered a day
His epical stories are now heard miles away

  Ralph Craven Rose Wine
Rosé Wine

Notes of raspberry, strawberry and red currant aromas on the palate, it is surprisingly full bodied with abundant sweets berry fruit and light tannins lend and leaving great fruit in the mouth. It is best served at 10oC. with all kinds of spicy Indian cuisine and seafoods.

Poem by Laisha Cooper:

Last Night along the corridors,
Looking down at the fields,
A man and woman sang a song of Love,
Drinking Rosé and cheese
In every swirl her eyes shone brighter
His breath now filled the air,
and in this charm of great delight,
the couples were in their lair.
They spoke of things from yester years,
Then spoke of times to come
But all in sync the wine began, to say things from their tongue
Her mane sat rested on his chest the wind began to sway
And from their raspberry breath they knew
The night was slipping away
